Every claim this investigation has disproven, kept where it stands
This page does not delete claims it has shown to be false. It annotates them and leaves them in place, in their original wording, including its own errors.
That is a deliberate choice and it deserves an explanation, because the alternative — quietly removing what turned out to be wrong — looks tidier. The subject of this investigation is how unverified claims spread through an information vacuum. Deleting the false versions would destroy the evidence of the thing being reported on. A reader who arrives holding one of these claims should be able to find it here, in the form they encountered it, next to what the record actually shows. And a piece that displays its own corrections is harder to attack than one that has been silently cleaned.
